An intimate and visually experimental short documentary that celebrates the resilience of Cambodian women through the healing power of storytelling, art, and music. Centering on Celina Chin, Saroth Loeuk, and Pich Houy, the film follows their remarkable journeys from childhoods in Cambodia to surviving the Cambodian Genocide, seeking refuge in the United States, and rebuilding their lives in Chicago.

In her return to Cambodia after many years away, she discovered her artistic voice and ultimately, found her calling.

A short documentary following Chicago artist, Shencheng Xu as he grapples with his Chinese American identity.

Water Spinach

In the village of Rosharon, Texas a community of Cambodian refugee immigrant farmers grow and sell water spinach — a plant that is native to Cambodia but invasive to the Texas waterways. Water spinach is the source by which they build new roots far from the war torn memories of their past.
